Lake Munmorah Rural Fire Brigade

Lake Munmorah Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer fire brigade made up of dedicated men and women to supply 24/7 fire protection to the people of Lake Munmorah, Chain Valley Bay and surrounds.

Lake Munmorah Brigade was formed in 1966 at our current location on the Cnr of Acacia Ave and Alistair Ave, Lake Munmorah. Our objectives are to protect life, property & the environment.

We currently have a Category 1 Tanker, a Category 7 Light Tanker and a Category 11 Pumper and we are always looking for new members to help man the trucks. You can contact Wyong Fire Control Centre during business hours on 02 4394 3100 for further information on how to join the RFS. Alternatively, you can drop into the station and speak to our friendly members directly.

Our members attend training every Saturday at 2pm and on the first 2 Wednesday evenings of the month at 7pm.
Our monthly meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month starting at 2pm.

More than just fire fighters. There is a job for everybody. If you don't feel confident in going out and fighting fires, there are other roles you can assist in. These include:
